APR's FMIC needs at least 13" of vertical clearance to be installed properly. This is illustrated in the image to the left.

The B5 A4 application will require a larger front bumper cover; the B5 S4 bumper cover or some aftermarket bumper covers are the smallest that will work. For the B6 A4, an aftermarket bumper is required.

There will also need to be modifications made to the bumper itself in order for the FMIC to fit properly. This is illustrated in the instruction manual.

For the Audi 180 and 225 TT, very minimal trimming of the inside of the stock bumper cover is needed.
